Vauxhall Cavalier Dashboard Lighting?

I have a vauxhall cavalier 1.8i LS on a N plate which is 1995, My dashboard is not illuminating, I have checked the fusebox and replaced the fuse however it keeps blowing it and when it goes it goes and it does it straight away, any idea???
