Has anyone heard of a word that sounds like sa-boat-idge?

Not sabotage (undermining something) but maybe something to do with smash repairs? Someone had it written as sabotage on their resume and after I asked them about it, I still couldn't understand what they meant! On the resume it was spelled sabotage but they pronounced it sa-boat-idge. It's certainly not in my dictionary with any other meanings...
