Where are crochet patterns?

I'm searching high and low for a crochet pattern to make a blanket for my boyfriend who is a fireman. I'd like one with a Maltese cross in the center or even just 'FD' But, I can't find one ANYWHERE!! Any suggestions?? Please, help! :)
