How do i talk to my bf? we've been going out for almost a month and i cant really talk to him.?

when we hang out w/ my best friend, we can talk but my best friend has a huge personality and can take over at times. she and him talk alot and i get jealous. i really like him and i really wnat this to work out. AND i talk like 24/7 so i really cant figure this out.
