Jehovah’s Witnesses: Why is there such a strong tendency to quote from the Watchtower when answering questions?

Plain and simple. Everything JWs (currently believe) is spoon fed to them directly from the WT publications. They are under complete control. Sadly, they don't see it that way. I didn't see it that way when I was growing up a JW either so I understand first hand why they are so easily victimized, as do most of the others who've been able to leave.
